It's a beautiful day to celebrate Father's Day during day two of the Hot Rod, Custom and Muscle Car Meet at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. The weather is perfect and we will be flying our collection planes this morning. An array of fantastic vehicles continue to roll in, including vintage racers, classic American Muscle Cars and all manner of hot rods, street rods and rat rods.

Kids admitted to the show today will have an opportunity to cast ballots for their favorite car, the owner of the winning vehicle will be chosen at the end of the show and will receive an Owls Head Transportation Museum t-shirt.

Family activities and kids activities will be ongoing throughout the day, a Father's Day Ingo Bike Challenge will commence at 12:45 and the National Street Rod Association will be present to conduct vehicle safety inspections throughout the day.

Refreshments provided by French & Brawn Catering and Market Place will be available in the caboose and include a variety of delicious options including breakfast sandwiches, lobster rolls, deli sandwiches, wraps, burgers, nachos and more for a yummy Father's Day lunch.

Vehicle demonstrations will include our 1932 Cragar Racer, our 1911 Cadillac, our 1926 Pierce-Arrow and our 1932 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Free Model T rides will be available and rides in select collection vehicles may be available.

The Hot Rod, Custom and Muscle Car Meet will run until 3 p.m. For additional information please call the Owls Head Transportation Museum at (207) 594-4418 or check out our Facebook Page.
