Collective’s Annual Bash visits Oz
Rockland — The Collective, Farnsworth Art Museum’s newest membership group, will host its third Annual Bash Saturday, Oct. 26. The 21-and-older event, dubbed From Kansas to Oz, will take place on Winter Street from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Drawing on the museum’s “Wonderful World of Oz” exhibition, From Kansas to Oz promises to be a not-to-be-missed event. Drinks and light snacks will be served in an atmosphere created by the Collective Steering Committee and other community volunteers. Tickets are limited and may be purchased at the Farnsworth's Museum Store.
Rumor has it that a scene from the movie will drop into the bash, which is free for Collective members; tickets are $10 for non-members and the fee may be applied towards a Collective add-on. To purchase or reserve a ticket, stop by the Museum Store; email firstname.lastname@example.org; or call 596-6457, ext. 145.
The Collective’s third Annual Bash is sponsored by ADW Maker; Asymmetrick Arts; Black Brothers Builders, Inc; Café Miranda; Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors; and Somewhere on Winter Street Gallery. The primary media sponsor of the Collective is Maine Magazine.
The Collective is a membership group consisting of diverse and dynamic individuals from the Midcoast that have come together to help attract a younger audience to the Farnsworth Art Museum through the presentation of intriguing programs and vibrant social events.
