Thomaston — On March 17, the team at Coldwell Banker SoundVest Properties presented a $2,500 check to Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County Executive Director Tracy Sala, representing $50 per house sold by participating CBSP realtors in 2013.

This check was supplemented days later with an additional $500 gift, bringing CBSP’s total donation to $3,000.

During the past three years, CBSP brokers who have participated in this program have been donating $25 for every house they sell to PMHSKC, and each of these donations has been matched by CBSP. Since 2011, this has resulted in total of $6,733 donated to PMHSKC.

"We sincerely appreciate this wonderful support from the folks at Coldwell Banker SoundVest Properties. They are a great Midcoast company with a great big heart for people and animals,” Sala said in a news release.
