Cushing — There will be a Coffee & Muffin book signing Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Cushing Historical Society's barn on Hathorn Point Road.

In the early days of the civil rights movement, Willimetz was a staff member of the inter-racial adult education Highlander Folk School, in which Martin Luther King, Eleanor Roosevelt and pre-bus days Rosa Parks were participants.
