Rockland — The Coastal Children’s Museum will be taking a much needed week off to clean, repaint, and repair from Sept. 1-9.

The museum will be reopening Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. and will return to their normal hours of Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteers to help clean, paint or wash would be most appreciated and anyone interested in helping can email the museum at info@coastalchildrensmuseum.org.

While the museum is being cleaned staff and volunteers will be reorganizing and any extra supplies and unused exhibit materials will then be on sale at the End of Summer Tag Sale happening at the museum Saturday, Sept. 20. The museum will be collecting donations of items in good or excellent condition including children’s clothing, books, toys and other accessories for this annual end of summer sale perfect for parents, teachers, and homeschoolers to get a great deal.
