CIFF passes on sale
Camden — Passes to the 2013 Camden International Film Festival are on sale through the organization’s website, camdenfilmfest.org. The ninth annual Camden International Film Festival will take place Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 26 to 29, in Camden, Rockport and Rockland.
Recognized as one of the top 20 film festivals for documentaries internationally, Camden International Film Festival has grown into a must-attend festival for both emerging and established documentary filmmakers, film lovers and industry leaders alike. The quality of the film selection, attending filmmakers and industry, CIFF’s Points North Documentary Forum and fest-related special events make CIFF an intimate, highly regarded festival, with Maine’s stunning coastline as the backdrop. This year’s CIFF will screen more than 70 documentary features and shorts followed by conversations with nearly all of the filmmakers in attendance.
The Camden International Film Festival offers two passes for attendees who want to experience it all: the Festival Pass grants admission to all festival screenings and all events associated with CIFF’s Points North Documentary Forum; and the VIP Pass grants the same admission as the Festival Pass plus all special events and invitation-only parties. Passes are available at discounted Early Bird prices of $75 for Festival Pass and $150 for VIP Pass if purchased prior to Friday, Aug. 16. After that date, pass prices will rise to $85 and $175. Passes guarantee entry into screenings and events prior to tickets being released for sale to the general public.
Films, filmmakers, high-profile industry attendees and speakers will be announced in late August when this year’s program is unveiled. For more information on the festival or to purchase tickets, visit the website.
