Chris Oliver is the newest member of the Kiwanis Club of Rockland.

Employed at Knight Marine Service, Oliver was sponsored by his wife

Celia Knight, who has been a member of Kiwanis for two years.  Prior

to his membership, Oliver has been instrumental in assisting at

Kiwanis events, including Special Olympics fundraising dinners, by

contributing his significant culinary skills to the satisfaction of

those in attendance.  One of the youngest members of the club, the

30-year old resides in Rockland with Knight and their son, Phinn.

With Oliver's induction on June 25, the Kiwanis Club of Rockland now

boasts 5 spousal couples who are members of the local service club.

An organization that focuses its efforts on children and encourages

member/family participation, the Kiwanis Club meets every Monday at

the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
