Chinese restaurant to expand in Rockland

Rockland — A Chinese restaurant has submitted plans to expand.

Hong Kong Island will add 48 seats to its restaurant at 145 Camden St., according to information included on the building permit submitted to the city code office by building owner Chelsea Market Realty LLC of Skowhegan.

The building was built in 2013.

The cost of the interior finishing work is estimated at $35,000.
