Camden — Noon Music in Lent, a free program of music followed by a simple lunch of soup and bread, continues its seventh year Friday, March 28, at noon at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut St.

The fourth program in this year’s series will feature the Mid-Coast Harp Ensemble. They will play a half hour program of Celtic music and music by Henry Purcell, among others. The ensemble’s numbers vary but there is a core group of six or seven players, depending on the time of year and travel conditions. The ensemble plays in the Midcoast area at nursing homes, churches and other special events as a service to the community.

The downtown church has a handicapped-accessible entrance with adjacent parking around the corner on Wood Street. For more information, contact Minister of Music Jane Schroeder at 236-3680 or janeschroeder@roadrunner.com.
