CedarWorks 2014 Giving Back program benefits foster families
Rockport — CedarWorks announces a new addition to its Giving Back program for 2014 — Play It Forward.
The Play It Forward program will provide playsets to organizations that benefit children and CedarWorks has chosen The National Foster Parent Association as its organization partner for 2014.
“Giving back to those who go above and beyond each day to bring hope to the lives of young people is the reason Play It Forward was created,” said Barrett Brown, CedarWorks company president. “We are pleased to partner with the National Foster Parent Association to Play It Forward in 2014. Their passion to make a difference and invest in kids is exactly what Play It Forward is all about,” Brown added.
Play It Forward will bring active play opportunities to the lives of foster children through an exciting playset giveaway. Beginning Jan. 1, 2014, members of the National Foster Parent Association who are currently foster parents are encouraged to apply to the Play It Forward program. A number of lucky families will be selected from among the qualified applicants to receive a free CedarWorks playset. For application forms and additional information visit CedarWorks website at cedarworks.com/givingback/play_it_forward. Completed applications are due by March 15. CedarWorks will select playset winners in the spring of 2014.
Funding for CedarWorks Play It Forward Program comes in part from current CedarWorks playset owners. Each time an owner refers a new family to CedarWorks, a portion of the sale will be donated to the Play It Forward fund. Working together, CedarWorks and the NFPA hope that Play It Forward will make a difference in the lives of foster children throughout the United States
