Camden's Pearl Street to close to traffic for trick-or-treaters
Camden — Pearl Street in Camden will be closing on Halloween, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. to accommodate trick-or-treaters.
The street, which is a popular destination for candy-collectors on Halloween, is expecting upwards of 800 people, said Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne.
The street will be closed from Pearl Street to Oak Street and there will be limited access on the intersecting streets of Norwood Avenue and Willow Street, as well as Park Street, the chief said.
That evening, police will be concentrating their efforts in that area of town, but will continue to have officers on foot patrol in the downtown to ensure everyone has a safe, fun Halloween, Gagne said.
