Camden star of Falmouth show

May 30, 2014
“Beautiful Camden Harbor” is among the many watercolors Maine artist David Clough has painted of the Midcoast town.

Falmouth — Friends of Clapboard Island will present an exhibition of watercolors — including many of Camden —by David Clough at Portside Real Estate, Route 1 (next to post office).

The show will open with a 5:30 to 8 p.m. reception Thursday, June 5, and continue Friday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Clough enjoys capturing the town he calls “the upbeat Village Down East” on watercolor paper with a kaleidoscope of colors. He paints the Camden Hills, the village and the ever-changing harbor scene in every season. To see more of his work, visit davidclough.com.
