Camden National Bank names new senior vice president
Camden — Gregory A. Dufour, president and chief executive officer of Camden National Bank, announces that Leslie Eaton has been named senior vice president, corporate and government services manager for Camden National Bank.
Eaton, based in the main office in Camden, is responsible for Camden National’s deposit product development and growth, and oversees the bank’s cash management products and services, including product development, business development, relationship expansion and sales activity for commercial and government entities. She reports to Tim Nightingale, executive vice president and senior lending officer for Camden National Bank.
“My career at Camden National has given me the opportunity to work with many of our state’s wonderful businesses and organizations,” said Eaton in a news release. “Developing products and finding solutions to help companies succeed is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to do so.”
Eaton began her career with Camden National in 2005 as manager of the bank’s call center staff. In 2006, she was promoted to deposit and strategic planning manager, overseeing retail, commercial and government deposits as well as key strategic initiatives for the company. In 2009, Eaton took on the role of deposit and sales manager, leading the efforts to train more than 400 Camden National employees in Integrity Sales training. The following year, she assumed additional responsibility managing the bank’s Corporate Services division. Prior to joining Camden National Bank, Eaton served in several management-level positions at MBNA, where she worked for 12 years.
“Leslie has been a valuable employee, and has been a key player in several important initiatives, such as our Integrity Selling education program,” said Dufour. “She is passionate about her work and it shows in everything that she does; Leslie’s promotion to senior vice president is well-deserved.”
Eaton is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and is a certified Integrity Selling, Integrity Selling for Sales Professionals and Integrity Coaching facilitator. She is active with the Penobscot Bay YMCA, serving as board secretary and as chair of its annual support campaign. Eaton also serves on the board of the Northport Golf Club. She lives in Camden with her husband Dan.
“Leslie has readily accepted positions of increasing responsibility during her tenure at Camden National,” said Nightingale. “This promotion is a reflection of her hard work and dedication to our company, attributes that have led to her success in each and every assignment she has taken on here.”
