Rockport — It was a glorious late-summer day and a spectacular setting on the Samoset Resort Golf Course for Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference rivals and neighbors Camden Hills and Oceanside to battle Friday afternoon, Aug. 30 in a season-opening high school golf match.
