Rockport — The American Choral Directors Association holds a biannual All Eastern Conference and Festival for which students audition to be chosen to participate in a prestigious honor choir at each festival. This year’s ACDA All Eastern Festival will run Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 5 through 8, in Baltimore, Md.

In June, students from Camden Hills Regional High School auditioned for the ACDA All Eastern festival and were notified in October of their acceptance. Three students will be representing Camden Hills, and the State of Maine, in Baltimore as they perform in the honor choirs of 200 to 400 students.

Soprano Anne Brady has been accepted into the 2014 ACDA All Eastern Festival High School Honor Choir, performing under the direction of Jo-Michael Scheibe. Tenor Jacob Corney and soprano Bethany Vix will perform in the Chinese Repertoire Choir, which includes both high school and college-age students, under the direction of Jing Ling Tam. The festival will culminate in a concert at 4 p.m. Saturday in the beautiful Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in downtown Baltimore.
