Camden Hills prevails in finale, KVAC shootout on-deckPanthers finish winless during regular campaign
The Midcoast high school golf regular seasons have finished, including for Camden Hills and Medomak Valley, a pair of teams heading in different directions.
The Windjammers improved to 8-1 after a victory over Waterville Sept. 24 and the Windjammers will participate in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B shootout Sept. 26 at the Rockland Golf Club. That event is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
Additionally, the Panthers lost to Winslow Sept. 24, ending their season 0-9.

Camden Hills 8.5, Waterville 0.5
At the Samoset Resort in Rockport Sept. 24, the Windjammers (8-1) continued to sail in their successful campaign with an easy win over the Purple Panthers. Camden Hills bested Waterville with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 160 to 216.
Daulton Wickenden shot 36 to earn medalist honors.
The individual results, with Windjammers listed first, were: Wickenden (36) beat Sam Wehry (52); Drew Long (39) beat Will Bolduc (51); Drew Holt (40) beat CJ Gaunce (63); Julian Starbird (49) beat Keaton Lahneman (56); Oliver Bianchi (45) beat Adam Barre (57); and Quinn Holt (57) tied Lauren Hallenbeck (57).
In junior varsity play, Eddie Socker (47) beat Luke Roy (score unavailable).
Winslow 9, Medomak Valley 0
At the Rockland Golf Club Sept. 24, the Black Raiders blanked the host Panthers and cruised to a convincing victory. Winslow defeated Medomak Valley with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 187-207.
Winslow's Justin Kervin shot a 44 to earn medalist honors.
The individual results, with Panthers listed first, were: Adam Wilcox (51) lost to Kervin (44); Aaron Smeltzer (49) lost to Josh Kervin (46); Tyler Emerson (49) lost to Parker Morrison (48); J.P. Lobley (58) lost to Mike Strahan (55); Alex Benner (63) lost to Alex Grenier (49); and Medomak Valley forfeited to Devon Hall (49).
