Camden Hills blanks Mount View, Oceanside loses first matchWickenden again earns medalist honors for Windjammers
The links bustled with high school golf action Sept. 12 with three Midcoast squads looking for victories at the midpoint of the regular season.
Camden Hills came away with a shutout victory over Mount View at home, while Oceanside lost its first match of the year, this time on the road against Gardiner.

Camden Hills 9, Mount View 0
At the Samoset Resort in Rockport Sept. 12, the Windjammers had little trouble with the visiting Mustangs of Thorndike and earned the shutout win. Camden Hills won with a four-player, nine-hole total of 158 to 198.
Windjammer Daulton Wickenden shot 34 to earn medalist honors.
The individual results, with Windjammers listed first, were: Wickenden (34) beat Erik Larrabee (43); Drew Holt (41) beat Austin Higgins (43); Julian Starbird (43) beat Montana Maynard (48); Drew Long (40) beat Westley Turner (64); Teddy Laurita (45) beat Cassidy Gerrish (65); and Eddie Socker (46) beat Logan Ryan (67).
In junior varsity action for the 'Jammers, Oliver Bianchi shot 43 and Quinn Holt 41.
Gardiner 7, Oceanside 2
At Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield, the Tigers played well on their home course to hand the Mariners their first loss of the season. Gardiner won with a four-player, nine-hole total of 183 to 186.
Tiger Nate Somes shot 41 to earn medalist honors.
The individual results, with Mariners listed first, were: Nick Mazurek (46) beat Austin Moore (56), 3-2; Reilly Flanagan (43) beat Andy Somes (47), 3-1; Jordan Carter (45) lost to Nate Somes (41), 2-1; Zeke Hamlin (56) lost to Matt Clark (47), 3-2; Zach Bernard (52) lost to Logan Peacock, 3-1; and Bethany Schulberg (68) lost to Nik Bergland (50), 3-1.
