Camden Hills art in Augusta

Maya Sosland’s mixed media “Fantasy” will be on display at the Department of Education’s building in Augusta.

Augusta — The Department of Education is sponsoring a show in the DOE building in Augusta during February and March in celebration of National Youth Art Month (March). Several students from Camden Hills Regional High School have had work selected for this exhibit.

Student work selected from Suzanne Southworth's classes includes an ink and wash drawing by Duncan Hall; a mixed media drawing by Lauren Merritt; and charcoal drawings by Cody Prandelli, Maddie Davis, David Munson and Madalyn Davis. Student work selected from Carolyn Brown's classes includes a mixed media drawing by Maya Sosland; darkroom photo prints by Kaitlyn York and Sean Manning; and pastel drawings by Ed Unda, Xara Sunne, Parker Lawson and Allyson Lindsay.
