Lisa Colburn of Orono will be the speaker at the Camden Garden Club’s meeting. Her new book, “The Maine Garden Journal,” suggests best practices and hardy plants for gardening here in Zones 5, or 4 or 3, for every Maine gardener; but it’s an answer to prayers for those who are transplants from balmier climes. Colburn will share stories and tips from more than 100 experienced gardeners.
