May 05, 2017

Camden — Camden Farmers’ Market will be opening in its new location at 116 Washington St. (Route 105) on Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The opening coincides with the town’s Camden is Blooming celebration. Free carriage rides from downtown to the market are planned along with a seedling transplanting activity for kids, and music by local group Rusty Hinges.

The new location at the old Tannery site is served by sidewalks from downtown, is accessible to the Camden Megunticook River Walk, provides ample parking, picnicking, and as the site is developed, will offer plenty of play area for the kids. A larger Grand Opening Housewarming Party is planned for Saturday, May 27.
