Camden Area District Nursing Association Offers A Unique Service

By Camden Area District Nursing Association | Nov 17, 2010

The Camden Area District Nursing Association is aware that many folks may not be clear about what the Association does.  Our nurses see patients in Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville and Hope, carrying out the unique mission of providing specific home care to patients whose insurance or government health care programs do not cover those services.  Visits are typically under an hour, and may be scheduled for once or twice a week, depending on the condition of the patient and the type of care needed. This  program allows many people to live in their homes much longer despite health challenges.

Over the past 90 years, through to today, numerous residents of Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville and Hope have benefitted from the personal nursing visits, relying on support from local sources only.  This time of year the Association welcomes contributions from four-town area to continue these vital services.  Tax deductible donations may be sent to the Association at P.O. Box 547, Camden, ME.  For further information, call (207)230-6272.
