Bustin tunes for Second Sunday
Rockland — The Second Sunday Series at the downtown Harbor Square Gallery will present Dillon Bustin on March 9. The musical host for the 1 to 3 p.m. show will be Camden’s David Dodson.
Bustin is a songwriter, folklorist, storyteller and raconteur inspired by historical and literary subjects, as well as personal experience. At Harbor Square Gallery, he will perform songs from "Sailing Alone," his adaptation of Joshua Slocum's epic solo voyage around the world in the 1890s.
A graduate of the Folklore Institute at Indiana University, Bustin is currently the artistic director for Hibernian Hall in Boston. He has been a longtime participant in the Sweet Chariot Music Festival on Swans Island.
Tickets will be $10 at the door. The gallery is located at 374 Main St.; for more information, call 594-8700.
