Bunny picnic planned for children's museum

Rockland — Visitors to the Coastal Children’s Museum Friday, Dec. 27 will be invited to a bunny picnic, from 11 a.m. to noon, when rabbits in search of a forever home from Animal & Youth Haven animal rescue in Waldoboro will visit the museum with owner and operator Melissa Lague.

Children will be able to sit and hold the rabbits and Lague will be on hand to answer any questions.

Animal & Youth Haven cares for animals in need of a home and some help. A 501 c3 nonprofit, their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and re-home animals and give education on animal welfare for children and their families.
