Bridges joins New Hope for Women board
Rockland — New Hope for Women announces the addition of Kerry Bridges to its board of directors.
A resident of Warren, Bridges is a nurse and small business owner of the Red Witch Home Brewing Supply in Rockport. She serves as a major in Maine’s National Guard and is the unit commander of the Medical Detachment for Maine National Guard at Camp Keyes in Augusta. She’s also a first-year law student at Concord Law with Kaplan University.
Bridges cited her work in the emergency room as one of the reasons that compelled her to join the board of New Hope for Women.
“I deal with domestic abuse issues in the emergency room on a daily basis and believe NHFW does a tremendous job of helping those in need. Additionally, I would like to act as a conduit for military personnel who may be in need of the services NHFW offers.”
New Hope for Women offers support to people in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. It also provides important educational resources to assist communities in creating a safer and healthier future. Learn more at newhopeforwomen.org or call 800-522-3304.
