Boyle visits Rockport library

Rockport — Mystery/crime novelist Gerry Boyle is coming to the Rockport Public Library for November’s Mystery and Mayhem Month. The public is invited to an evening with the Maine writer Wednesday, Nov. 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 1 Limerock St.

Boyle is the author of the Brandon Blake and Jack McMorrow mysteries. He lives in Maine and his books are set in Maine, reflecting both small-town settings and Portland’s Casco Bay.  Described as suspenseful, his books are fast paced, psychological thrillers. Along with his writing and touring schedule, Boyle writes articles for magazines and participates in the Maine Crime Writers Blog, mainecrimewriters.com.
