Birmingham Boosters members Jeff Boggs, Vice President Robert Lacasse, Hope Billingsley and President Greg Billingsley started tearing out the old orange bleachers at Oceanside High School East June 14. Assistance is needed the next few weeks to complete the task and prepare for the new blue bleachers.

Rockland — The Oceanside High School East Boosters have ordered the new bleachers for the gym.

Some money is still needed, but the priority is to receive some physical help. In order to get the best price for the new blue bleachers, the boosters offered to remove the old orange ones.

Work began June 14, unscrewing the seats and separating the plastic and metal. For the next several weeks, assistance is needed on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. to complete the task.

Tools needed are 9/16 socket with ratchet, T30 star bit attached to a drill or hand driver. Anyone wishing to assist in this activity, please email Robert Lacasse at
