Book sale at Camden library
Camden — The August book sale at the Camden Public Library will be an indoor event during the weekend of Saturday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Aug. 26.
“Rekindle your love for reading books both hardbound and paperbacks,” said Don White, volunteer chairman of the book sale. “The eclectic mix is again fantastic! In the fiction section there are authors such as Nevada Barr, Alex Berenson, James Patterson, Dick Francis, and Agatha Christie. Stock up on serious subjects in our reference section, or pick up the light reading with our collection of romance novels in the paperback section.”
There will be hundreds of books at the sale: hardcover books are generally $2, and paperbacks are three for $1. All sales benefit the program and services of the library. The book sales are organized and run by volunteers.
The book sale hours are Saturday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 26 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. August 25 is also the final day of the library’s Adult Summer Reading Program. Participants can turn in their Reader’s Responses for Book Sale Bucks any time before then.
