Book inspires Camden walking tour
Camden — Elysee and Tom Marshall will lead walking tours of the village Friday through Sunday, June 29 through July 1. Tours will depart from the Village Green, Elm Street/Route 1.
The tours will depart Friday at 2 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Cost is $20, $15 in groups of five or more. Tour-takers will take home a free copy of the black-and-white version of Tom Marshall's newly published "Our Summer in Camden, Maine: Where the Mountains Meet the Sea," the sixth book in his Make the World Your Second Home photo/travel series describing experiences he and Elysee have had during their summers away from home.
The Marshalls will be giving a free illustrated talk from the book Thursday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Camden Public Library. Fore more information about the walks, visit camdenwalk.com.
