Benefit dinner to support Camden-Rockport Elementary School garden

Camden — The Camden-Rockport Elementary School will hold a benefit supper Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Francine Bistro on Chestnut Street in Camden.Proceeds from the dinner will support the school's garden fund.

Community members are invited to attend — enjoying a supper of fresh, local foods while helping children discover the joys of growing and eating vegetables. Those attending can choose anything on the menu — from a simple soup or salad to a four-course meal.

Owner and Chef Brian Hill will donate all of Francine’s net proceeds that evening to the CRES School Garden Fund — helping to cover needed supplies in the 2013 growing season.

Seatings are between 5:30 and 10 p.m. and reservations are recommended. Call 230-0083 to reserve a table.
