Bed Turning
Friendship Sampler Quilters of Belfast, presenters
This bed turning explores the transition from European-made to American-made fabrics in 19th century as the United States textile factories became established. The quilts vary in their types of fabrics, styles and workmanship as the fashion, finances and available fabrics changed over the 19th century. Come enjoy this delightful and unusual event and learn more about Maine's quilts and fabrics. At PMM’s Main Street Gallery, 40 East Main Street, Searsport. Admission free.
