Camden — Tickets are going fast for another benefit bash at 16 Bay View, the downtown luxury boutique hotel. The Spring Beach Party Saturday night, April 22, will benefit the Dempsey Center.

Doors will open 6:30 p.m. for the inaugural Beach Party, and award-winning Portland DJ Jon will start mixing at 7 p.m. Tickets are $49 and include a spread of heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts; fun beach-themed party favors; door prizes; and a chance to win a grand prize vacation giveaway. Guests also will enjoy a premium cash bar with beach-themed cocktails sponsored by Blue Chair Bay Rum; local draft beers; and select regional wines.

Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are on sale at brownpapertickets.com. Partiers are encouraged to dress in their favorite beach attire, lather on the sunscreen and dance the limbo as DJ Jon rocks the house.

The Dempsey Center, founded by actor Patrick Dempsey with the intention of giving back to the Lewiston/Auburn community where he grew up and to honor his mother, provides compassionate care and supportive services to those impacted by cancer. For more information, visit dempseycenter.org.
