Barrie Jenkins of MCN Coins speaks to Kiwanis
Barrie Jenkins of MCN Coins was the featured guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club meeting on March 18th. A life-long resident of Maine, Jenkins shared interesting information about numismatics – the study or collection of currency; including coins, tokens, paper money, and related objects. Jenkins and his business partner Stephen Lord have more than 100 years of combined experience in dealing with coins. Their business is located above Kelsey’s Appliances on Route 90 in Warren. In the photo, Jenkins is shown with Kiwanis president Amy Pease of Union, and a framed collectible of paper coins. Members of the Kiwanis Club meet every Monday at the Samoset Resort for community service project planning, fellowship and leadership development. FMI: email@example.com.
