Barn sale to benefit Medomak Valley Land Trust
Bremen — A barn sale to benefit the Medomak Valley Land Trust will be held in Bremen on Route 32 under a white tent Sunday, Aug. 3, at 9 a.m.
Hosted by Dan and Suzanne Goldenson and other MVLT members, the sale will feature antiques, collectibles and other great barn finds.
They and their friends have contributed such items as a wicker rocking chair and other wicker items, an antique spinning wheel, antique cooking implements, a set of Majolica pottery, collectable old books with fine bindings, several antique bed frames, one beautifully painted, boxes of small antiques, lots of china and glass items, antique chairs, and much more. Lots of cartons to rummage through.
Plus, there is a near-new glass-front bookcase, set of Dansk dishes, glassware, office equipment, and lots of surprises too numerous to mention.
Breakfast pastries and cold drinks from newly-opened Van Lloyd’s Bistro in Damariscotta will be available Parking available on the field away from traffic. All items have been contributed, so 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Medomak Valley Land Trust.
The sale will take place on Route 32, in the Goldensons’ fields bordering Webber Pond, approximately one-quarter mile north of Biscay Road. Look for the white tent.
