Author shares his ‘Lemon Grove’
Rockland — The First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway, will present an evening with Ali Hosseini, an Iranian-American whose short fiction has appeared in literary magazines including Story Quarterly, Epoch and Coffin Factory. His latest novel is 2012’s “The Lemon Grove.” The public is warmly invited to this free lecture.
Hosseini will talk about his immigrant experience plus writing, and reading from, “The Lemon Grove” Monday, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church. A book signing and reception will follow the lecture after question and answer period. It is suggested attendees read the book in advance of the lecture.
