November 2012 calculated for east coast time zone

We will be turning our clocks back on Sunday November 3. On November 6, Mercury will turn retrograde on Voting Day that is at 6:04pm and we'll watch the confusion take place. Mercury was retrograde when Election Day took place when Bush and Gore ran against each other and we waited for weeks to find out who the winner was never really to know if it was an honest count or not. Mercury turns direct on November 26. November 13 there will be a Total Solar Eclipse with the Sun and Moon conjunct (it’s a New Moon) at 21 degrees of Scorpio. If you have any planets at that degree (or within 5 degrees) you will be feeling the effects for about 1 year! This total solar eclipse will be visible in New Zealand, in parts of Australia, Chile, and Antarctica.

November 1 Venus in Libra will be opposite Uranus in Aries. You are likely to feel drawn to others who inspire you to think outside the box and expand your awareness into fields you hadn’t considered previously. Romantic relationships often begin during this aspect. Mercury is aspecting Saturn suggesting that this is a fine time for research because you have more patience.

November 1-3 Venus is in an uncomfortable aspect with Pluto. Seems that past unions are holding back the free flow of energy due to old unhealed emotional wounds which get in the way of the present. This aspect is good for yoga and dancing with the intention of releasing old energies which don't fit with the present, YOU.

November 3 turn your clock back one hour at 2 a.m.

* special note written today: although Mercury will be turning retorgrade until November 6th  (Voting Day!) at 6:04pm I have already been "suffering" because of it. My computer has been to the shop and now it's back, thank goodness. A friend mentioned her computer mouse is frozen and won't budge. Even when she turned off the computer, etc. Tried it all. Now her computer is going to the shop. All typical mercury retrograde situations, which seems to get spurred on at this time, days before Mercury actually turns retorgrade, so be prepared!

November 5-6 the Sun is aspecting Jupiter favorably, bringing in positive energies which lift your mood. Your thinking is clear and you feel more generous than usual. This aspect is also known for stretching the truth lying and exaggeration due to ego pride and arrogance.

November 6 Mercury will be turning retrograde at 6:04 p.m. Make the most of the retrograde energy. It’s favorable for meditation, yoga retreats, journaling, reading about life after death, near death experiences, and taking more time out for relaxation. Mercury turns direct on November 26 at 5:50 p.m. It can be frustrating for communications, planning, organizing, and of course electrical and mechanical problems do arise more frequently while Mercury is retrograde.

November 7-9 Venus will be in a very positive aspect with Jupiter which would be an ideal time for a marriage ceremony or a fund raising event. This aspect brings about a playful mood.

November 8 is the same aspect as it was on November 1. "Mercury aspecting Saturn," increases patience and is good for organizing your thoughts and plans.

November 8-17 Saturn is in an awkward aspect with Uranus. There are major issues with organizing and adjusting to problems that seem, at the moment, to be insurmountable. Mercury is still retrograde at this time contributing to the problems we will be dealing with at this time. It’s just after Election Day. It will be complicated.

November 9 Venus is now in an awkward aspect with Neptune. Idealizing someone throws your perspective out of whack, which would be a set up for disappointment and disillusionment in the future.

November 11 Neptune will be turning direct. Neptune has been retrograde since June 4, 2012. This direct motion of Neptune makes it easier to visualize and manifest your goals. Also taking place today the Sun is in an awkward aspect with Uranus which stimulates rebellion.

November 11-13 Mercury is in a difficult aspect with Neptune causing confusion and misunderstandings…plus Mercury is retrograde making it doubly confusing.

November 13 the Total Solar Eclipse takes place at 5:09 p.m. with the Sun and Moon at 21 degrees of Scorpio. The image used for meditation by Dane Rudhyar (from his book, “An Astrological Mandala”) is about the release of aggressive energies in a group. It’s a confrontational energy, yet done in a conscious respectful manner. This has to do with favoring diplomacy rather that military action. How do we reconcile these energies within ourselves personally, that is what this eclipse is about. We are taming old instincts. Anyone who was born on this day (of any year) will find that the year ahead (birthday to birthday) will be more intense with confrontations to deal with.

November 14 Mercury will be entering into Scorpio, joining the Sun and Saturn in Scorpio. Mercury was in Sagittarius and is slipping back into Scorpio due to retrograde motion. With this position of Mercury we’re aiming to discover the reasons for our actions. With this kind of clarity we have empathy. The energy of Scorpio seeks to find and solve the mysterious hidden values that motivates us. The Sun is in an uncomfortable aspect with Pluto. Pluto rules Scorpio. This aspect ignites the desire for greed and power.

November 14-15 Mercury is in a positive aspect with Mars speeding up your mind and nervous system.

November 15-17 Mars will be nicely aspecting Neptune putting you in the mood to dance and sing, especially if it’s organized and syncopated. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could dance and sing at work (Mars is in Capricorn).0
