Topsham — Maine Craft Association is accepting applications from MCA members for Artists in Their Studios: A Photography Project for Maine, a new effort to document Maine fine craft artists throughout the state in the spaces where they create.

Artists in Their Studios seeks to further expose the role and depth of fine craft in Maine, to reach and excite collectors and the general public through imagery that reveals studio life and artistic process of artists working in traditional and contemporary craft media. At the same time, the project responds to the ever-changing landscape of marketing and the demands of social media on the business of being an artist by providing artists with professional images and a unique perspective and documentation of their practice.

Application deadline is Thursday, Dec. 1. For more information, find the project under Programs at
