Artist shares sales with library

Dec 19, 2013
Friends of the Waldoboro Library has purchased artist Roberta Goschke’s portrait of Santa Claus for the library to display every holiday season.

Waldoboro — Although it is his busiest time of year, Santa Claus sat still long enough for Waldoboro artist Roberta Goschke to do his portrait.

Goschke is Waldoboro Public Library’s artist-of-the-month for December and is donating $100 from every piece sold from the exhibit to the library. Library trustees and staff expressed thanks to the artist for her generosity and also thank the Friends of the Waldoboro Library for purchasing Goschke’s Santa portrait for the library so patrons can enjoy it for Decembers to come.

Goschke’s show runs through the end of the year. For more information, call the library at 832-4484.
