Washington — On Oct. 17 at about 10:20 p.m., Knox County deputies responded to a suspicious complaint on Crystal Lake Road in Washington.

Upon the deputies arrival, they discovered many people outside the residence. Three people ran into the woods and one was taken into custody immediately as it was known that she was on bail conditions, according to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Felicia Glidden, 19, of Washington, was eventually placed under arrest for violation of conditions of release.

Due to the ongoing problems in this area, assistance was requested for other agencies to respond. A Maine State Police trooper, officers from Camden police, Rockport police and Waldoboro police, along with deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded, one with a K-9 to assist locating the subjects that ran into the woods.

After a brief search, Frank Maddocks, 41, of Appleton was located by the K-9 team from Lincoln County and arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

The other two were not located last night, but pending further investigation, more charges may be brought against others involved.
