Appleton eighth-graders will be hosting a 5k Run and Walk April 27 to raise money for their class trip to Boston. Register the day of the race. Registration is 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. The race will start at the ball field on Appleton Ridge Road, go to West Appleton Road and back to the field. The cost is $10, if you have any questions please call Jeff Hilt at 975-9699.
The eighth-grade class would like to invite you to a Spring Bizarre and Gym Sale, Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon. This is a great opportunity to sell some of those no longer needed treasures, or perhaps to find the bargain of a lifetime, and at the same time support the eighth-grade class trip to Boston. Tables are available to rent for you to sell your wares at a suggested donation of $20 per table. If you need more than a table, other space can be made available in the gym for you based on your needs and display size. Large items can be set up in the parking lot (cars, boats, snowmobiles, elephants, etc.). The gym will be open Friday evening, May 3rd, from 5 to 7 p.m. for set up, and again Saturday morning prior to the sale from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Refreshments will be available for sale as well. Please contact Chris and Mary Kate Moody at 785-2359 to reserve table/floor space for this awesome event. Tell your family, your friends, and "Come Join the Party"!!!
