Anderson watercolors at Thomaston Cafe

Watercolors depicting local quarries, and historical homes built by the original quarry owners, by Marcia Anderson may be seen at Thomaston Cafe.

Thomaston — The downtown Thomaston Cafe is exhibiting a group of watercolors by Rockport artist Marcia Anderson during March and April. The exhibit shows Rockland and Rockport lime quarries and some of the fine homes of quarry owners. Historical notes are included with each painting.

Thomaston Cafe, at the corner of Knox Street and Main Street/Route 1, is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at 5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
