American landmarks, in miniature
Thomaston — Thanks to a thoughtful donation, Thomaston Public Library has a permanent display of some of America’s most recognizable landmarks. They may be seen in the library’s main room.
Included are the Lincoln, Jefferson and Iwo Jima memorials; the U.S. Capitol, White House and Supreme Court buildings; the Statue of Liberty; and the former World Trade Center towers. All are finely crafted Danbury Mint Collectables and may be seen during library hours.
Thomaston Public Library is located in the Thomaston Academy building, 60 Main St./Route 1. Parking is around the back.
