Add some holiday Magic to your life

Dec 19, 2013

Our pet pick of the week is Peanut Butterball, a 3-year-old yellow lab. She's a real beauty. Like her name would suggest, she's a big-boned gal. That just means there is more of her to love. Butterball can be very shy when she encounters someone new but with an introduction and familiarity she warms to you and her friendly, playful lab personality is revealed. She is good with most cats, dogs and older children. She is best suited to a home where there is routine and consistency with few surprises and little excitement.

How about adding some holiday Magic into your life? Magic, a striking adult tortoiseshell cat is part of our Twelve Strays of Christmas promotion where twelve select shelter animals have a special adoption fee to encourage their adoption in time for the holidays. Magic is long overdue, having been at the shelter for over a year. She is fine with other cats, probably a well-behaved dog and respectful children. Magic can be adopted for only $12. Give the gift of love and a home for the holidays to our Twelve Strays of Christmas: Minxie, Scout, Little Foot, Bonnie, Merlin, June, Magic, Eustis, Lexington, Whip, Splash, and Miller.
