Acupuncture stress relief program Sept. 12
Rockland — Stress is an unavoidable reality of modern life, and if left unchecked it can have a devastating impact on one's health. It is important to find simple yet effective ways to stay relaxed and deal with stress before one feels the urge to reach for a drink or sweets or go shop for unneeded things.
Learn about effective stress-relieving acupressure techniques at the Rockland Public Library Thursday, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m.
Lifestyle principles of Chinese medicine can go a long way toward significantly reducing the stress in all areas of one's life, especially during those stressful moments that arise in everyday life like giving a presentation, taking a test, or going for a job interview.
In this hands-on, do-it-yourself workshop, Acupuncturist Amy Jennifer L.Ac. will show attendees how to use 10 acupressure points for stress relief. These points are easy to locate and a person can use them to restore calm anytime, anywhere, for yourself or on someone else. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows access knees to toes and elbows to fingers.
