Acupuncture for Parkinson's disease

Camden — Acupuncture for Parkinson’s Disease is the focus of the next Parkinson’s Support Group area meeting Tuesday, May 6, from noon to 1:45 p.m. at the Anderson Inn, Quarry Hill in Camden.

Practitioners from the Midcoast Acupuncture Alliance will be on hand to discuss the benefits and uses of acupuncture for those with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological and movement disorders.

Support group meetings take place regularly on the first Tuesday of each month, from noon to 1:45 p.m., at the Anderson Inn. Participation is free of charge and open to all those living with Parkinson’s disease as well as their loved ones and caregivers Attendees are encouraged to bring bag lunches; Quarry Hill provides beverages and desserts.
