Acoustic variety at Rock City
Rockland — Rock City Café, 316 Main St., will fill with the sounds of guitars and vocals Friday and Saturday nights, April 21 and 22. The Live music will run from 7 to 9 p.m. both nights.
On Friday, Rock City welcomes the Honeycreepers, who deliver eclectic storytelling sounds ranging from folk to funk. The duo features guitarist Matt Shea and vocalist Kelsea Burch.
On Saturday, the Midcoast’s Will Brown promises a mix of original arrangements of folk, Americana, traditional and transatlantic songs and tunes. Brown has been playing with other well-known Maine musicians since the early 1980s and is known for his tasty finger-style guitar work. He encourages folks to sing along as it’s more fun for all … and helps him recall the lyrics at times.
Food is available until closing. For more information on these and other events happening at the coffeebar/cafe, call 594-4123 or find it on Facebook.
