A Taste of Italy for AIO
Rockland — The Area Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry will host A Taste of Italy, and evening of fine food and folk music, Friday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 150 Broadway. Suggested donation at the door will be $7, $3.50 for children; non-perishable food donations will be welcomed in addition.
Diners enjoying Italian cuisine will be entertained by Dusty & Joanna, who will provide guitar and autoharp harmonies. Joanna sings an eclectic mix of songs ranging from folk, gospel, bluegrass, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson to mention but a few. Joining Dusty & Joanna will be Ray Montana on bass; his background is rock ‘n’ roll, fiddle and Celtic jam.
Contributions of both food and money are always welcome for the food pantry, which is located at 70 Thomaston St and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
