Atlantic Baking Co. has been a popular destination in Rockland Maine since 2002. Known by many as ABC, we produce a broad range of artisan breads and pastries made from scratch every day. The bakery is open daily for breakfast and lunch.

We use only the finest ingredients available such as unbleached, unbromated flours. We never use preservatives. Our breads are hand shaped every morning. Come in and try a classic Parisian baguette, seeded country batard, Italian ciabatta (perfect for dipping in your favorite olive oil or with cheese), sourdough, cheese bread, organic whole wheat or our raisin walnut, to name a few.

We use premium chocolates in our pastries and extra-rich European Plugrá butter, making our croissants flaky, tasty and delicious. They will melt in your mouth. You’ll be back for more when you’re craving something sweet, be it a sugar bun, raisin almond swirl, chocolate almond bear claw, a chocolate or almond croissant or one of our delectable muffins. If you want something savory you might choose a bacon cheddar scallion scone, a spinach and feta or a prosciutto and parmesan croissant.

Every day we sell sandwiches to go or custom paninis made on our fresh bread, two different soups, salads, quiches and breakfast focaccias. All can be enjoyed at one of our tables inside or at our bistro tables outside. Our counter facing Main Street is the perfect place to people watch while you munch on a caramelized onion focaccia sandwich with balasamic reduction, turkey, lettuce and swiss, along with a ginger molasses cookie, or just to relax with a cup of our delicious HOT coffee.
