Cheryl and her husband came to Camden from downtown Boston for a get-away weekend. "Here we are, thirteen years later, in the most beautiful spot in the world, doing what we love to do," she says. Cheryl had worked in sales and design, so the move to real estate was a natural. She's knowledgeable, creative, energetic, fun to work with, and protective of her clients' interests. It's that combination that works. "This is one of biggest decisions in someone's life and I have the utmost respect for that. I want clients to feel that the process was seamless and that they got the help they needed to get what they wanted. I am here full-time for them and will do whatever it takes to make it work." She has a designer's eye--that creative ability to see potential in homes other brokers might overlook, to see ways to make the properties work for her buyers without costing them a fortune.
For her, selling comes down to the visuals, so if her clients are game, she's perfectly willing to stage the property - rearrange furniture, re-hang pictures, and clear clutter. "When you are selling a home, you can't necessarily live in it the way you normally would. It takes an objective eye to see a room differently and to allow a prospective buyer the opportunity to imagine their lives in that space. Once the transformation has occurred, the property shows entirely differently, and appeals to more of a buyer base. It really does make a difference! You've got to love it!"
Cheryl lives in Camden with her husband, artist Dan Daly(dalyart.com),who assists her in her practice. They share a love of art, antiques, and the outdoors.
