"SERVING TO END WORLD HUNGER" TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Rockport, Maine - Midcoast Recreation Center will be the site of the 7th annual benefit tournament to help alleviate hunger needs,  Saturday, November 17 from 12-4PM.  The majority of funds raised this year will go to local food banks.  Thirty-two players participate in a round-robin/mixed doubles format. They receive a T-shirt, refreshments and raffle prizes.  Contact Erin Meyer, erinesmeyer@gmail.com , to secure a spot.  Deadline is Sunday, November 11.  A donation of $25 is suggested (but more or less will be gladly accepted).

Please know that non-participants can support this cause also with monetary contributions or the donation of canned and non-perishable foods.  Spectators are welcomed to watch the tournament and the "Meyer Men Challenge" competition which precedes the tournament, beginning at 10:30AM.
