Before real estate, most of Janet's business experience was with Ford Motor Company where she worked for 22 years in various administrative, operations and dealer consultant capacities in Michigan, California and New Jersey. Her past experience working as a licensed real estate appraisal trainee also enhances her real estate expertise.

Because customer service has always come first with Janet, she was voted "Second Best Real Estate Agent in Knox County" in the 2008 Village Soup (local publication) "Best of the Best" contest.
